Q: Are there any membership fees/dues, and if so, how much are they?
A: The initial membership due's set by the club was $25.00/year. New members are sent a welcome email and a link to the club's PayPal site. Membership dues will renew yearly (unless you cancel your membership or chose not to have dues automatically renew) however, existing (and new) members are encouraged to show their support for the club by purchasing one (or two) of the club's window decals.
Q: How much are the window decals, and how do I get one?
A: Window decals are priced at $5.00/each, and all monies from the sale of them (as with all club merchandise) goes back into the club.
Q: Where does the club meet?
A: Meetings and G2G (Get-together's) are usually held in Modesto at one of our many designated Meeting Areas.
Q: When are meetings?
A: Meetings are held every-other-month and take place on a Saturday, usually starting at 11:00am.
Q: Do I have to attend every meeting?
A: No club member is forced to attend every meeting, although attendance is encouraged, the club understands that personal time comes before club time.
Q: Can I be an officer of the club?
A: Sure. send me an email with the position you want.
Q: Does the club have a Charitable Organization Tax Number?
A: No. The club does not, currently have one.
Q: Do I have to own an HHR to be a member? I am thinking about buying one.
A: Yes you do.
Q: Can non-members attend your Get-Togethers/Meetings?
A: Absolutely. We encourage non-members to attend all of our functions, without any obligation to join. Although, non-members cannot vote at the meeting.
Q: Where do you have members?
A: Our membership ranges from the Modesto, LaGrange, Fresno, Madera, Sacramento areas, as well as from the Bay Areas.
Q: What's the story with Nor-Cal HHR's?
A: The new name reflects the diversified areas the club has members in. The new name was chosen by our membership over the period of a month (from our last meeting in January 2008 to February 16).
