Congradulations to Bud Hill and Harvey for taking the 1st Place Award for Best Retro vehicle at the 3rd Annual Hot August Days car show at Chase Chevrolet in Stockton. Another Chevyhhr.net board member, Leon and Sharon drove up from Ridgecrest to participate. They left with the 2nd Place award! Congrats to them all!!

2008 FlexFuel option
Chief Troy Clarke today unveiled a FlexFuel Chevrolet HHR, the company's first four-cylinder model that can run on E85 ethanol as well as gasoline. [ read article ]
2008 'AA5' option
AA5 is an option that deletes the side quarter windows, replacing that area with a solid metal panel. AA5 stands for "Solid Rear Quarter Panel" [ read article ]

Here's a pic of Joseph & Rachel's Victory Red HHR. This was taken at the Hot August Day's Car Show that took place in Stockton on August 31. I really can't begin to tell you what all was done with this one (probably because I didn't have a pen and paper to write everything down), but it does look amazing!
I absolutely love the Matt Black grill with the red bowtie... and If I had taken a pic of the rear, you would have seen the two exhaust tips that were also in a Matt Black finish.... simply wonderful. I would have to say this is the best looking, exterior modification I've seen... not including Harvey.
